FEAST OF TRUMPETS

From sundown on Wednesday of this week (September 24, 2014) to sundown (September 26, 2014) will be Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year and also called The Feast of Trumpets. (See the 23rd chapter of Leviticus.) Please pray during that time for your safety, the safety of your family and for the safety of our nation.

Even though Daniel was anything but an evil person, he repented of his sins and he repented for the sins of his nation, Israel, when Israel was in danger as we are now. See Daniel Chapter 9 and verse 20.

They say that the Feast of Trumpets is a two day feast because nobody knows the day or the hour. Some say that the Rapture will take place on a Rosh Hashanah, but nobody knows which one. Join me and others in prayer starting at sundown on Wednesday continue as often as possible until sundown on Friday of this week. Perhaps the Lord will hear from Heaven and heal our land.

ROSH HASHANAH: Feast of Trumpets

Many if not most Christians have heard of the last trump--also called the last trumpet. However, some never heard of the Feast of Trumpets mentioned in the Bible or if they heard of it, know little about it.
Yet at sundown on Wednesday, September 28^th, Jews from around the world as well as Messianic Jewish Congregations will gather to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets. The feast of Trumpets is mentioned in the Book of Leviticus chapter 23 and verse 24, noting the Jewish New Year with the blowing of a ram’s horn called the shofar. The Feast of Trumpets, Rosh Hashanah, falls on the first and second day of the Jewish month of Tishri and is the first of three feasts held in the fall of the year. This year, the Feast of Trumpets ends at sundown on September 30^th and is a time of reflection and prayer.

The actual date when Rosh Hashanah begins on any given year is determined by the new moon.
Since in times past nobody knew the day or the hour when the new moon would appear, Rosh Hashanah is a two-day celebration instead of a one-day feast.
