Remember Jesus's Sacrifice....

I wanted to wish all of the Writers' Rest Blog Readers a happy and joyous Easter. During this sacred holiday, we need to remember that Jesus died for our sins. He's our Savior and he suffered so that we could gain eternal life.

We also need to remember to remind our children that this holiday isn't really about eggs and bunnies and candy...it's all about Jesus...

Happy Resurrection Day!

Never forget that this spring holiday season that some call Easter is not for Christians only. Jesus is Yeshua in Hebrew, and Jesus was celebrating Passover in the upper room at the Last Supper -- a tradition started when the death angel passed over the Children of Israel in Egypt because they marked their door posts with the blood of a Passover Lamb.
Today, Christians remember that Jesus IS the Passover Lamb.
Love,
Molly

Thanks Cecelia for the Easter greetings. We had a wonderful service this morning, as usual. So many family and friends in attendance. They even had to bring chairs out for extra seating after the pews filled.
Now if only ppl can remember to celebrate every day what Christ did on the cross.

@Ngozi, Teresa, and Carrie, thanks for commenting. Yes, wouldn't it be nice if people remembered Jesus's sacrifice everyday, not just on Easter?

Happy Easter, Everyone! :-)
