She liked it, but said it was hard to sell in today's market. Yet most of the people I talk to enjoy a foreign setting. I wish there were more of them out there in Christian fiction.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02658965317864885221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8113039007643369603.post-18452094338178019282009-10-05T09:12:52.156-07:002009-10-05T09:12:52.156-07:00I love books that are set in foreign lands. At any rate - I love reading about other countries and cultures. I have traveled to Europe and the history is so rich there, how could anyone be satisfied with only reading about our short country's life - current or historical? I love the USA, but for reading enjoyment, give me the world!Jan Clinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16617976979678082323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8113039007643369603.post-9561250344697603562009-10-01T21:26:14.531-07:002009-10-01T21:26:14.531-07:00The setting doesn't matter to me as much as th...The setting doesn't matter to me as much as the plot and characters. But, I have been pretty disappointed that few of them venture outside the U.S. With regular fantasy, if the story doesn't take place in a foreign country, it's a foreign PLANET. I love reading about new places almost as much as I love visiting them!

If there were such a site, I would be a frequent visitor!!

~TaraTara Lindsay Hallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00970258984995282462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8113039007643369603.post-67214684303532302892009-10-01T10:10:16.275-07:002009-10-01T10:10:16.275-07:00I like foreign settings, since I'm foreign, I ...I like foreign settings, since I'm foreign, I guess that's expected, though.
