When I first heard that, I just shook my head. Apparenly it's true. So, I have perseverance. I don't have a lot of patience, but I'm getting it whether I want it or not. Waiting to hear back from agents requires a LOT of patience. As some of my unfortunate friends who have to listen to my whining can tell you, I do not do well in the waiting room!
I think the best wonder of all is that I actually belong to a wonderful community of Christian authors. Nobody's kicked me out yet, and people are still hugging me at conference, so I'm slowly getting a sense of belonging, of being a part. Believe me, for this introvert who did not have the greatest experiences throughout school, this is huge.
From time to time I admit I wonder why God believes I can do this. Yet I know He does.
And so I press on.
Was that more than you wanted to hear? :0)Catherine Westhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16075571140881352399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8113039007643369603.post-23000826918623900472007-11-14T06:53:00.000-08:002007-11-14T06:53:00.000-08:00Two comments:1)You get up before 4am and you're NO...Two comments:
1)You get up before 4am and you're NOT tired and cranky??? If I tried to write a book at 4am it would be about pillows and/or coffee, and would come out sounding like Kerouac's evil stream-of-consciousness step-child.

2)When you were researching for the day spa, you at least got to visit, right? You deserve it after getting up before 4am! Can you tell I'm impressed?

Great WONDERS, by the way. :)Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13625007061379689382noreply@blogger.com
